i could not beleave how difficult it was to find oval placemats. with amazon it was so simple. good product at a good price -- hard to find

These are nice heavy mats. Unlike the other reviews, I decided to wash these before reviewing. They wash well and come clean, however, you absolutely must iron them and when you do, the edges do not lay flat anymore. They actually still look ok, the edges just look a little ruffled which doesn't bother me that much. -- Nice Placemat

These placemats are really great. I was skeptical when I ordered them. I was worried that the fabric might not be that nice, but when I got them I was surprised at how elegant they look and feel. They have a nice weight to them and I got them in the natural color which looks good. It is also nice to know they are made in the USA. I haven't washed them yet so I don't know how they will hold up but so far I am very pleased with my purchase. I am planning to purchase another set in a different color. I have received a lot of complements on the mats as well. -- Great placemats at a great price
