I am happily retired in the Rogue River Valley of Southern Oregon. I got involved with our local cat shelter 7 years ago and became a foster mom for many tiny orphaned kittens and occasionally a teen age mom in the mix. This is how I came to live with 10 cats who range in age from 12 weeks to perhaps 12 years of age and from 5 lbs to 18 lbs.

I discovered Molly and Friends several years ago and have 6 pieces of cat furniture from them. They range in size and scope from the simple cat bed on a scratching post to the enormous 7 ft tall cat elevator and scoop models.

My cats are the basis of all my reviews.

Obviously I think Molly and Friends build quality,good looking and value for price pieces. Believe me, I have had many kitty furniture items in the past 68 years that were cheaply built, fell apart, looked yucky...so I am very grateful to have found Molly and Friend 3 years ago.

There is a design problem with the 3rd level tube in this model. The hole that is supposed to lead to the top level bed is im properly placed so that the cats cannot see that it leads to the top level so they stop at level 3. I tried to show them how to get to the top but since they could not see the pattern they stalled out on level 3 not matter what feather teases I tried. The opening needs to be angled up higher so the cats can see where it is leading.

So far my 10 intelligent, lovers of top level beds have been unable to see the connection. Therefore they either stop in the tube or if very determined and athletic, make an exterior assault on the heights.

I would not buy this again as my cats are smart and this should not happen with Molly and Friends who for the most part have made me and my cats very happy. -- Molly and Friends fan is disappointed for the first time

I can't give it a 5 as I have not yet ordered it. Does it really take 1 to 2 months to get it? This model is exactly what I have been searching for. I saw other Molly and friend trees today in the store but they did not have this one. They were made very sturdy. Is beige the only color? Best constructed cat tree available and for a reasonable price. Our cat loves it and we would buy it again. Great that it's not made out of cardboard or plastic and doesn't wobble. It is well constructed and the carpet is applied securely and it is well finished. Just wish we had known about this brand a couple of years sooner. -- Molly Cat Tree
